The Philippine Association of Agriculturists, Inc. - Region V (Canarium ovatum Chapter), in partnership with Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA), Bicol University (BU), Department of Agriculture - Regional Office V (DARFO V), and Bicol Consortium for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (BCAARRD), proudly announces the hosting of the International Conference on Agricultural Innovations, Resiliency, and Sustainability 2022 (ICAIRS 2022) on October 13 -14, 2022, via Zoom and Facebook Live. This year's theme is "Addressing the Challenges in the Agri-Food Systems towards a Better World."

The primary aim of the conference is to strengthen the knowledge base on sustainable practices and financial and policy options by agriculture professionals/workers making them equipped to help their respective communities achieve food and nutrition security under crises.

The highlights of ICAIRS 2022 include:

Plenary sessions with local and international expert resource persons from various academic, research, and private institutions

Research paper presentations with eight thematic areas: agricultural extension, alternative food and feed, climate-smart agricultural technologies, circular economy, food security, renewable energy, risk and crisis communication in agriculture, and sustainable agricultural policies.
