PROFILE
My journey in public service spans almost 35 years, with most of these years dedicated to ATI, an institution I have served with deep commitment and passion.
I began my career in 1987 as a casual technical staff at DA-Regional Field Office 10 and later served as a CARP Training Assistant. In 1989, I joined ATI-RTC 10, where my passion for agricultural extension services found a true home. I took on various roles—starting as Senior Information Analyst, then Information Officer II. Over the years, I steadily rose through the ranks: Agriculturist II, Training Specialist III, Training Center Superintendent I, and in 2018, I was designated OIC-Center Director. This role paved the way for greater leadership, culminating in my promotion to Training Center Superintendent II / Center Director in 2021.
Under my leadership, the Center earned recognition as the 4th Best Center among ATI’s 16 training centers in 2024—a testament to our team's shared vision and commitment.
Beyond ATI, I served as VP for Mindanao (2019-2023) of the Philippine Extension and Advisory Services Network (PhilEASNet) and represented the PhilEASNet to Philippine Association of Agriculturists (PAA) Board since 2023. Currently the VP of the PAA–Pineapple Chapter (2025–2026), an Executive Board member of Regional Executive Board of Regional Research Development Coordinating Council (RRDC) of NOMCAARRD, and a member of the Phil-Dutch Fellows Network Inc (PDFNI).
I have always embraced opportunities to grow, both locally and globally. My international experiences include agricultural research training in The Netherlands (ICRA 2000) with field study in Ghana and, a cooperative development course in Indonesia under the ASEAN–Japan MAFF program (2013), and a climate change-focused learning activity in the U.S. (2016) with UC Berkeley and the University of Nevada.
Decades later, I remain steadfast in my mission: to capacitate extension workers, and, empower farmers, fisherfolk, and rural communities. I am honored to continue serving with the same passion and dedication that I carried with me when I first started this journey.
