Ramon A. Oliveros is a retired Supervising Science Research Specialist at Department of Science and Technology (DOST) - Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (PCAARRD). 

Prior to this, he worked for 31 years at the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) in various capacities: Senior Research Assistant (Rice Farming Systems and Hybrid Rice Breeding); Sr. Supervisor and Head of Employee Services Section, Human Resource Development; Technical Assistant, Assistant Manager, and later as Executive Assistant to the Deputy Director General with concurrent assignment as Assistant Head, Intellectual Property Management Unit and Lead Person of the IRRI Board of Trustees Secretariat.

He has extensive training in human resource management, intellectual property management from Michigan State University and Cornell University (Visiting Fellow, Strategic World Initiative for Technology Transfer) and has served as resource person in various national and international trainings in intellectual property. Mr. Oliveros also taught at the Department of Agronomy, U. P. Los Baños. He is also a member of various professional scientific, socio-civic, and religious organizations.

A member of the Board Trustees, he is currently the first member of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Council of Agriculture.
