Ivy Rosemarie G. Ortiguero is currently serving as a Project Coordinator under the Emerging Innovation for Growth Department (EIGD) at the Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA). Prior to this role, she worked as a Project Associate, where she handled both the technical and administrative aspects of internationally- and nationally-funded projects on baseline and endline evaluations and roadmap formulation.

Previously, she served as Project Staff under the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at the University of the Philippines Open University. She collaborated in conceptualizing and initiating research on quality assurance and the university of the future in the context of open and distance education. She co-authored two book chapters and one journal article on these topics, reflecting her engagement in the evolving landscape of higher education.
