Clare Hazel R. Tabernilla is an Assistant Professor from University of the Philippines Los Banos – College of Agriculture and Food Science. She teaches courses related to Crop Protection and Weed Science and also serves as a faculty-in-charge in UPLB National Service Training Program.

Her current research interests include biological control of weeds as well as weed-pathogen and weed-insect interaction. She is a member of Pest Management Council of the Philippines, Inc., and also acts an officer to Weed Science Society of the Philippines, Inc. Outside of work, she enjoys out-of-town trips, swimming, and trying out different coffee beans of the Philippines.
