PAA played a key role in the Search for Outstanding Agricultural Extension Manager and Outstanding Agricultural Extension Worker by serving as evaluators and members of the technical panel.

Mr. Ramon A. Oliveros, member of the PAA Board of Trustees, was a part of the National Technical Committee for the Outstanding Agricultural Extension Manager that evaluated and field validated the accomplishments of the nominees for the said category. The evaluation and field validation ran from February to April that entailed visits to Zamboanga del Sur, Quirino Province, and Cotabato. These visits were necessary to form a comprehensive assessment of the nomineesโ€™ initiatives and its impact on the community.

Dr. Evelyn Aro-Esquejo, past president of the Association, and Dr. Virginia R. Cardenas, PAA CPSP-CATS Chair, also served as members of the Board of Judges for the Search for Outstanding Agricultural Extension Manager and Outstanding Agricultural Extension Worker last May 19, 2025.

Gawad Saka is a nationwide search for outstanding farmer individuals, groups, and organizations that have exemplary achievements in their respective fields. The Association strongly supports initiatives like this that aim to inspire others to pursue excellence in agriculture and contribute to the ongoing efforts of the Department in food security and sovereignty.
