CMU Hosts PAA Region 10 Pineapple Chapter Agriculturists Regional Congress
The Philippine Association of Agriculturists PAA Region 10 Pineapple Chapter held its 2025 ๐๐ ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฌ ๐๐๐ ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐ง๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐๐๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ from November 5 to 7 at the Central Mindanao Universityโs University Convention Center in Musuan, Maramag, Bukidnon. The event gathered 189 registered agriculturists from Northern Mindanao who praised its organization and valuable learning sessions focused on advancing agriculture.
The opening program was graced by key officials and honored guests. Hon. Atty. Jose Joel P. Doromal, Municipal Mayor of Maramag, formally welcomed the delegates, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to host the event. He emphasized the importance of gatherings that enhance professional knowledge and contribute to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points, describing the congress as โa continuing journey of learning, sharing, and growing together.โ
Dr. Joseph Valmoreda, CMU Vice President, also expressed his support to the participants. He underscored the vital role of agriculturists in serving farmers, producers, students, and consumers, noting the need to provide them with due recognition to perform their roles effectively. Meanwhile, a video message from Bukidnon Provincial Governor Rogelio Neil P. Roque was presented, reaffirming the provincial governmentโs commitment to advancing agriculture.
Representing PAA Chairman Dr. Roberto F. Raรฑola, Jr., Mr. Ramon A. Oliveros praised regional officersโ efforts in helping agriculturists earn CPD credits for professional development. DA-RFO 10 Regional Executive Director Jose Appollo Y. Pacamalan๏ปฟ lauded municipal agricultural extension workers as key drivers of local agricultural development.
Anchored on the theme โ๐ฌ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ป๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐น๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐จ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐บ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ญ๐๐๐ ๐บ๐๐๐๐๐๐," the congress featured 15 specialized topics delivered by 15 presenters.
The 2025 PAA Region 10 Summit reinforced the associationโs dedication to strengthening agriculturistsโ skills and the regionโs agricultural sector, inspiring participants with optimism for future collaborative growth.
