UPLB Alumna Tops November 2025 Agriculturists Licensure Exam
A graduate from the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) Department of Agribusiness Management and Entrepreneurship (DAME) dominated the November 2025 Agriculturists Licensure Examination (ALE) among the 6,678 agriculture and related-fields graduates who passed the exam.
The Professional Regulation Commission – Professional Regulatory Board of Agriculture (PRC-PRB Agric) administered the ALE in 18 testing centers all over the Philippines, including NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga, last November 19-21, 2025.
Aira Joy M. Anyayahan, a BS Agribusiness Management and Entrepreneurship graduate from UPLB, achieved a remarkable 92.18 % rating, the highest among all 9,742 examinees nationwide. Anyayahan’s achievement is not just a personal milestone. It is a reflection of the excellent quality of agriculture and agribusiness programs at UPLB which inspires the next-generation of agriculturists.
Placing in second and third respectively are Mahonri A. Alquisalas (91.68%) and Angle VI E. Manong (91.52%), both from UPLB College of Agriculture and Food Science. Gwyneth G. Villarin (91.52%) from the Batangas State University – Lobo campus shares the third spot with Manong.
UPLB likewise displayed an outstanding performance as the Top Performing School with 100 or more examinees and a 99.37% passing rate. Meanwhile, Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University – Bacnotan campus clinched the Top Performing School with under 99 examinees in a stellar 100% passing rate.
